Thankyou for visiting Sterling Den Kennels! Come back often for updates on puppies.

We Offer Quality Stud Service:
For those interested in using one of our stud dogs, we would like to know a little about you.  By getting to know you a little, we can better support you where needed, and help you find the right “Romeo”, even if it is not our own dog.  Please be aware that money is NOT the reason that we will allow a breeding; QUALITY has to come first.
In addition, we have valid safety concerns for our studs when they are being used on outside breedings.  Therefore we have a few rules built into this process that not only protect our dog, but yours as well.
Questions:
.
Is your girl AKC registered? (we only deal with AKC dogs)
If not, then is she papered such that the AKC would accept her?
.
Why are you wanting to breed?
.
What facts make you think that this mating is a good match?
.
Do you intend to show any of the get from this breeding?
.
Has your girl ever been examined for the following:
CERF:
OFA:
Others:
. (...and YES we do health testing on our own dogs also...)
What are the bloodlines behind your dog?
.
Has your girl been bred before?
How did it go?
.
Will you need to ship your girl to us or do you need semen shipped to you?
Shipping semen is cheaper, but the timing is much more important..
..
How do you place your puppies in their new homes?
Required: any puppy (sired by one of our studs) that is not kept for your own program must be placed in a pet home on limited papers with a spay/neuter contract unless otherwise agreed to.       [This protects our own lines and the lines of people that have sold good dogs to us.  We place our puppies responsibly, so why should puppies from an outside breeding to OUR stud be handled any differently than if they were our own..?  We love our dogs and seek to protect them.]
.
